Born to Make a Difference

Born to Make a Difference

God is a good God and He is our Father. God is a perfect God – He doesn’t make mistakes. Everything He does is with a purpose – with a specific design, idea, and concept in mind. So when God made you and me, He had something wonderful in mind for which He wanted to use us. I like to say that God created us to make a difference in this world.

In Ephesians 2:10, the Passion Translation of the Bible says: “We have become his poetry, a re-created people that will fulfill the destiny he has given each of us, for we are joined to Jesus, the Anointed One. Even before we were born, God planned in advance our destiny and the good works we would do to fulfill it!”

‭‭Wow! What a powerful verse! We are God’s poetry? That’s amazing! God took His time in making us according to His likeness and image. Therefore, no one is a coincidence or a mistake. Everyone has value, everyone has dignity, and everyone bears the image of Jesus, the visible son of God that reveals the invisible Father whom no one has seen except the Son (John 1:18). However, it doesn’t end there. It says that before we were born, our destiny was planned out and it has to do with good works He wants us to do.

That’s right. You were made for good works – you were made to make a difference. God has already hard-wired every person to live a life of transcendence.

In John 15:8,11 NIV, Jesus says “This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples… I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.”

With that in mind, here at Pneuma Church, we value every member of the Body of Christ. How? By creating the Growth Track and Dream Team, a process where every person can learn about their God-given design and serve on a team connected with their dream. I encourage you: if you want to know what your God-given, specific design is, then go through our Growth Track, which takes place every Sunday during our services. You can find out more on our webpage or by coming to one of our services and asking about Growth Track.

Here at Pneuma, we love you, believe in you, and want to see you making a difference in the lives of others and thus fulfilling your God-given purpose.

In Christ’s love,

Pr. Chris
